The Summerlin Apple Store Was Robbed Over Super Bowl Weekend
This is why we can’t have nice stuff. There are certain things that just make my blood boil, and losers who steal are near the top of the list! Over the weekend, some thugs entered the Apple Store in Summerlin and walked out with thousands of dollars in stolen items. And here’s the kicker, someone in the store was able to get the event on video.
It’s wild, because these thieves aren’t even intimated by having a camera in their faces. Granted, they were wearing masks, but in the video you can see that the criminals casually walk through the store while they steal from it. There was little to no urgency on their part.
A Local Real Estate Agent Caught It On Video
Bryan Lebo, a Las Vegas Real Estate Agent, was inside the Apple Store when the theft took place and he recorded it. Lebo was at the store, checking out the brand new Apple Vision Pro. According to Bryan, he says even though the store has its own security, they didn’t do anything to stop the crime. In fact, at one point in his YouTube video, Lebo claims he asked store employees and security if he should step in. Lebo even spoke with police afterwards and asked the same question. He was told by authorities that unless he felt like his life was in danger, he shouldn’t have intervened.
As mentioned earlier, the criminals were pretty casual in their robbery. So, Lebo didn’t feel like his life was in danger.
Thankfully, there seems to be a happy ending to this story. According to reporting by George Acosta on News 3, police did make an arrest following the events from this weekend. However, metro police wouldn’t go into further details.

I live in Summerlin. So, this is a little too close to home for me. Plus, this side of town isn’t really known for this kind of thing. But robbers don’t care. Hopefully, this doesn’t become a norm in our city.
