Nevada Is One Of The Rudest States In America

When’s the last time you’ve experienced a rude person in our state of Nevada? Perhaps you were flipped off on the I-15? Maybe you were yelled at for getting something wrong at your job. Or maybe it was you being the rude person? Because according to a new study, Nevada is one of the rudest states in America! I got to be honest, that kind of shocked me to learn, because I honestly think we’re pretty polite in the “city of sin.” Anyway, the study is filled with valuable information for the next time you plan a trip, because it might help you reconsider going (or not going) to a place based on how friendly the locals are. It was Newsweek who recently ranks all 50 states in our union. Their survey made their rankings based on how friendly the locals are to tourist, and they drew insights from a survey of travelers on social media. Listen, if you’ve already got the preconceived notion that folks in the northeast part of the country are less than welcoming, this study isn’t going to change your mind. Here Are The Rudest States In America New York comes in at number 1 on Newsweek’s list. Is there anyone surprised by this? The big apple is so often portrayed in film and television as a fast-paced concrete jungle. People in New York City don’t have the time or patience to deal with anyone who they feel slow them down. But hey, if you can make it there, you can make it anywhere! After New York, it’s followed by – Arkansas, Delaware, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, New Hampshire, Nevada surprised me as the 8th rudest state, then there’s Florida, and Rhode Island wraps up the 10 rudest states. On the flip side, the website also revealed who the friendliest states are. Here Are The Nicest States In America Again, a no brainer, but Minnesota tops the list as the nicest state in the country. They’re known for being “Minnesota Nice” and it shows on this study. The rest of the 10 nicest states are Tennessee, South Carolina, Texas, Wyoming, Indiana, Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Hawaii. Lots of “Southern hospitality” on that list… but interestingly, no Northeast states made it on the top 10 nice list.
