Hats Off: Boy Sells His Pokémon Cards To Help Pay Dog’s Vet Bill
Jeff & Aimee are tipping their hats to a boy with the kindest heart!
8-year-old Bryson Kliemann sold some of his precious Pokémon cards to help pay his puppy’s vet bills. Bryson’s 4-month-old puppy Bruce needed a life-saving treatment that cost $655, according to The Washington Post.
“Bruce got sick and needed my help,” said Bryson in an interview with The Washington Post. “I was super sad. I didn’t want to lose my best friend.”
With a plan in mind, Bryson set up his pop-up shop in front of their home in Lebanon, Va., with a sign that simply read ‘ Pokemon 4 SALE’.
Bryson’s efforts helped tremendously as word spread quickly of his pop-up shop. Bruce, who was suffering from parvo, is back at home recovering.
“I never in a million years would have thought something that my 8-year-old did in a small community would have such an impact,” said Bryson’s mother, Kimberly Woodruff.
