Eddie is a U.S. Army vet who welcomed a new family member, Marley! She is a female bulldog mix and was the 14th pairing of rescue dogs with veterans by an Ohio nonprofit called Veteran Companion Animal Services (VCAS).
Broom was told that she’s very nosy and a "ninja!" He just smiled as Marley explored his new home.
Watching it all, Tom Lennon is the career Navy man who helped connect Eddie and Marley. Tom beamed with pride as he reflected on why, for the last two years, he has volunteered with VCAS to help fellow servicemen and servicewomen find love and companionship through fur babies in need of a good home.
