Have you met Tate South?
I’m a Georgia boy, who has been talking and playing music on the radio since the age of 15. As a listener, I always felt a deep connection with the people I heard on the air. It’s rewarding to connect with listeners and help make their day a little brighter with a friendly word or their favorite song.
After many years in Atlanta, and a couple in Memphis, I fell in love with Las Vegas and has called it home for more than 10 years. Sin city has a lot of events and experiences that you can’t get anywhere else. Yes, it’s hot but at least it’s not cold.
I’m a dog dad and can’t live without my pups. My dogs, Tweek and Taffy, were adopted from the NSPCA. Tweek is a Chihuahua Terrier mix and Taffy is a Chihuahua Dacshund “long-haired chiweenie.” Dog treats and long walks through the park are a must.
I couldn’t BUY a dog when so many need a good home. They allow me to live in the house…for now.
In my free time, I like to hang out around the pool with friends and trying new restaurants. I’m a BIG BBQ connoisseur and prefer sauced over dry rub.
You can catch me either cooking, sleeping or creating stained glass art. Creating art is very relaxing.
I was inducted to the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame in 2013. You can hear me on 107.9 Coyote Country on Sunday from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
