Hats Off: Granddaughter Donates Money To Homeless Man Who Returns Family Wallet
Jeff & Aimee in the Morning are giving a Hats Off to a 12-year-old in Northern California!
Grandma Evelyn Topper and her granddaughter Mikayla Gounard were out at a local coffee shop in San Rafael, California when Topper accidentally dropped her wallet.
After not realizing she dropped her wallet, she returned home with her wallet nowhere to be found.
However, the next day Topper would get a phone call that her wallet was found. Sean Curry had found the wallet behind the coffee shop’s dumpster. Everything was still inside of it except for the money.
Curry’s selfless act really resonated with teen Gounard. She was about to celebrate her twelfth birthday and rather than asking for presents, she asked for charity donations to be made in her name.
Gounard ended up raising several hundred dollars for Curry! Check out the video below:
