Hats Off: More Than 900 People Paid For Each Others Meals At A Minnesota Dairy Queen
Jeff & Aimee are giving a Hats Off to an amazing community in Brainerd, Minnesota!
A simple act of kindness can go a long way! One person paid it forward for someone else’s order at a Dairy Queen drive-thru, so the next person decided to do the same.
The chain of kindness continued for over two and a half days with over 900 cars continuing to pay it forward for the person behind them, according to CNN.
“There’s all different types of ways to help people,” said Tina Jensen, Dairy Queen manager. “I think this touched a lot of people that we didn’t even know it touched, deeper than we know. And you don’t know what’s going on in a person’s life.”
Jensen has seen trends like this happen at her store but for only 15 to 20 cars max. Never something of this magnitude!
“No matter what’s going on, take care of each other, be positive, be happy and don’t focus on the negative, we’ll get through it,” said Jensen.
