UNLV Football Player Changes Tire For Woman In Need
Chivalry isn’t dead! UNLV’s collegiate athletes are keeping it alive.
After following quarantine guidelines for over two weeks Vegas local Sandra Amarant Carlos decided to take a drive down on the strip.
However, after pulling up to a gas station she realized she had a flat tire.
“I don’t know how to work the air pump. About that time a young lady and fella pull up and I asked the girl could you help me put air in my tire? He will help you she said. And that he did,” said Amarant-Carlos in her Facebook post.
Standing at a tall 6’4 and 210 pounds, UNLV football #1 wide receiver Randal Grimes helped out Amarant-Carlos in her time of need.
After realizing the tire was no good Amarant-Carlos insisted on waiting for AAA to come and fix the flat, however, Grimes insisted on helping.
“No ma’am, I’m not letting you stand out here and wait for AAA it’s a dangerous neighborhood,” said Grimes.
After the friendly helping hand the two snapped a picture and posted it to Facebook where it went viral!
