Nike has taken that philosophy quite literally by designing a shoe for hospital workers. Nike’s “Air Pulse Zoom,” can withstand 12-hour shifts and be easily cleaned from the material used, according to Nike.
The mega-giant shoe company also announced the donation of 30,000 pairs of shoes across the US and Europe.
“In recognition of frontline healthcare workers around the world, Nike will donate the Air Zoom Pulse and other product to healthcare athletes,” said Nike via Twitter.
Good360, Nike’s non-profit company, will distribute the shoes to veteran’s hospitals and medical centers in Los Angeles, Memphis, Chicago and New York City.
In Europe, Berlin, London, Milan, Barcelona, Belgium and Paris is set to get the donations.
