Title: Making our Dreams come true despite our tragedy
So to start our journey! We met in 2009 after my Dad introduced us. My dad took me with him one night to play poker and he was introducing me to all his friends one of which was Charlie. Long story short, I looked into his eyes without saying a word and knew that he was the man that I wanted to be with for the rest of my life.
My dad has known him 2 years longer than me. So, every night we would go get Cold Stone and go to the park and stare at the stars and each other. We got to know each other very well. Charlie sat down with my Dad one day and asked if he could have my hand in marriage, of course, my Dad said yes.
So, one day after work Charlie was acting funny he waited until I was not looking and I turned around and he was down on one knee. Knowing that I had 3 kids from a previous marriage and just had a little one he still wanted to be my husband. So, we decided to move back to Vegas to be near family.
Fast forward into the future we have been through a lot in the almost 11 years that we have been together. We have bought a car, a house and other things that couples do. We have been through so much, recently in September 2019, our home that we share burned down and we lost everything that we have worked for including our 5 pets.
We have 6 children between the two of us. This would mean the world to him and I since he is Vegas born and grew up in this wonderful city.
