New Symphony Park Development Will Transform Downtown Las Vegas
It is hard to imagine Downtown Las Vegas without The Smith Center and the (new) Discovery Children’s Museum. The land just northeast of Symphony Park has been sitting there and waiting for development. Auric Symphony Park apartment complex opened in 2021, and now we know what is to come for the rest of the land. It’s gorgeous.
The Las Vegas City Council just approved plans for a new development that will be built just north of Auric at Grand Central and City Parkway that will transform Downtown for the better.
What is in store for Downtown Las Vegas?
This gorgeous new mixed-use development will feature 240 luxury condominiums, 150 apartments, along with tens of thousands of square feet in new office and retail space. The new project will also feature a grocery store in an area of town that is much in need of options.
Considering this $275 million investment is in the heart of the arts in Las Vegas, the development promises to offer up a street for holding festivals, art work around the new neighborhood and more.
Red Ridge Development, based right here in the valley, is behind the new project. The jewel of the development is a roughly 33 story condominium tower. The tower will boast stunning views of the valley from high above. For perspective, Circa Las Vegas is 44 stories tall.
Ward 5 Councilman Cedric Crear says the new mixed-use development will create nearly 2,900 new, full-time jobs to his district along with hundreds more in indirect employment.

It’ll be exciting to see how it turns out, but the wait might make you a bit impatient. Construction is set to start in early 2025 with completion by early 2028. Whatever the wait may be, Downtown Las Vegas is about to get a worthy project.
