Las Vegas Natural History Museum To Hold Dinosaur Ball Gala
If you’ve been to this blog in the last few months, you know that I’m a big fan of the Las Vegas Natural History Museum. It’s been a staple for most of my life. I remember going on field trips there, as a kid, and I love that I can make memories there with my son now that I’m a dad. They’re always putting on fun events at the museum and they’ve got another one in the works! In case you haven’t heard, there’s going to be a big Dinosaur Ball Gala happening at the Las Vegas Natural History Museum! I think it sounds like a good time, so I wanted to spread the news to you — especially if you also have little ones who are obsessed with dinosaurs, or if you’re just a fan of helping great causes!
The gala will be held on Saturday, September 28th and will be held between 6:30pm to 9:30pm. From what I’ve read on a recent press release, it sounds like its going to be a really fun event!
The museum will be honoring MGM Resorts International this year because they’ve been such a huge support system for the museum’s educational programs. It sounds like MGM has helped the museum do what they do best — getting people stoked about natural history!
According to the press release, this will be the 4th year they’ll be hosting the event at the museum and it’s sounding like it’s bound to be a lot of fun. There will be food, drinks, entertainment, and the museum will also be holding a few auctions — both silent and live. Again, everything will be hosted within the museum, so you’ll be able to explore the exhibits while also enjoying the gala.
Some big-named sponsors will also be in attendance, including Nevada State Bank, Cox Communications, and Wynn Resorts. The museum will also be handing out the “Heart Award” to Joe Tumminia from Whiting-Turner Contracting Company for showing compassion and guiding the museum though some tough times during COVID. It’s always nice seeing good people get recognized for being good people.
Trust me when I tell you, the museum is such a wonderful spot to take your little ones. If you’re interested in learning more about the gala, or if you’d just like to get tickets for a different day, please visit their website HERE.
