The 4 Best Whiskeys in America, According To A Vegas Old Fashioned Expert
Did you know there are two types of Whiskeys? According to Delish.com , one is Whiskey with an “ey” and the other is Whisky, minus the “e.” Whiskeys come from America and Scotland. Whiskies come from Japan and Scotland.
So no matter what Scotland has its hands in the Whiskey/Whisky Business. Can you blame them? I don’t. I love good Whisky…er Um, Whiskey. Oh hell, they’re both great, but I wanna focus on good old-fashioned American Whiskey.
So, what are the Four best Whiskeys in America?
Well, let’s start with Jack Daniels. Look, I could fire off a bunch of different Jack brands that would make the top five, and this article would be over. Like, Sinatra, American Single, and Twice Barreled. And the list goes on. Jack Daniels is the most well-known American whiskey brand, and rightfully so. But my favorite Jack is Gentlemen’s Jack. It’s smooth and has the wonderful Jack Daniels flavors. Plus, the price is right. You can usually find it for under $40. So, you look kind of fancy without breaking the bank.

Speaking of looking fancy, Angels Envy is a fine-looking whiskey, and man, it tastes just as fancy. But once again, because I’m not a rich girl, Angels Envy hits my bank account just right.
Kentucky is famous for its bluegrass, weird pronunciation of Louisville (Act like you have a mouth full of marbles and say it and you have it nailed), and of course, whiskey. Bulleit Whiskey to be exact. Smooth, tasty and makes the perfect Old Fashioned.
But my favorite Whiskey of all time is a bourbon whiskey from Buffalo? Ok, not from Buffalo, New York, it’s from — you guessed it — Kentucky according to BuffaloTrace.com. Buffalo Trace is quite possibly the smoothest Bourbon whiskey I’ve ever had. It is always winning awards including the 2020 Whiskies Gold Award.
Buffalo Trace is in my opinion the cream of the crop when it comes to Bourbon Whiskey, spelled with an ey. God Bless America and God bless a good American Whiskey.
