Hui Lau Shan: Hidden, Delicious Mango Dessert Shop In Las Vegas
A delicious new sweets shop is serving juicy mango desserts in Las Vegas’ Chinatown. Hui Lau Shan specializes in mango drinks, cold mango desserts and other Hong Kong-style treats.
Hui Lau Shan is tucked into the Pacific Asian Plaza located at 5115 Spring Mountain Rd #225, Las Vegas, NV 89146. The dessert shop specializes in mango desserts, drinks and treats. Hui Lau Shan uses special mangos called Carabao Mangoes, according to their website.
Carabao Mangoes come from the Philippines, and they’re known for their sweet and juicy flavor. It’s one of the many famous variations of mangoes available in the Philippines. Many people who taste these types of mangoes often say they’re very sweet with only a hint of sourness.
Hui Lau Shan Brings Delicious Mango Desserts To Las Vegas
Hui Lau Shan is perfect to cool you down during the sweltering heat. These desserts are refreshing and often have cooling jelly properties.
Some of the most popular items are the mango pudding, mango mochi and the mango drinks. Hui Lau Shan also has different variations of sago desserts (which are essentially similar to a tapioca pudding texture.)
The Mango Chewy Ball is thick mango juice poured in with mango chunks, coconut jelly balls and a scoop of delicious and soft mango ice cream. The Mango Coconut Noodle dessert is the same base with coconut chunks, mango ice cream and strings of sweet coconut jelly noodles instead of coconut balls.
There’s also the new Sea Coconut Icy Combo, which is shaved ice with coconut ice cream and cold fruit. The Mango Crisp is my personal favorite, which is mango ice cream covered in coconut shavings and some powdered sugar. It’s delicious, and the desserts are sweetened by the natural sugars and flavor of the special mangoes.
You should definitely check out this place for great, refreshing and different desserts that you can’t get at a normal ice cream shop.
