Coyote Country Proud!
We need more feel good stories like this. Let me tell you about U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Kenneth O’Brien, a true American hero.
He was recently recognized by the U.S. Air Force as one of a dozen outstanding airmen of the year but he had one more act of heroism to get in before accepting. While he was on his way back to the states to accept the award, he saved the life of of a young child. Unbelievable.
His long list of heroic accomplishments include; pulling a person from a flaming vehicle in South Korea, serving on President Trump’s security detail during the summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, being the first to reach the children in the rescue when junior Thai soccer players were trapped in a cave, during which he also saved the life of a Thai Navy SEAL.
Evidently, he wasn’t completely finished being a superhero. On a Sept. 11 flight back to the United States to pick up the award, he resuscitated a baby that had lost consciousness after choking.
“I can’t decide if he’s Superman or Mayhem (the guy on the insurance commercials),” Lt. Gen. Jim Slife, head of Air Force Special Operations Command, joked in his Facebook post.
Congratulations U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Kenneth O’Brien on an honor well-deserved. Thank you for your service.
