Calling all parents in North Las Vegas and around the valley! Exciting news awaits for your little swimmers. Thanks to a generous grant from the Southern Nevada International Code Council, the City of North Las Vegas is offering free swim lessons for kids. It’s an incredible opportunity to enhance their water safety skills and to enjoy the joys of swimming! Not to mention, it also beats the heat we’ve been seeing lately!

Splash into Confidence: City of North Las Vegas Provides Free Swim Lessons for Young Swimmers

The program offers three separate classes tailored to different age groups. The first class is designed for kids between six months old and three years old, ensuring even the youngest ones can dive into the water with confidence. The second class caters to children aged three to five years old, providing a fun and engaging learning experience. And for the older kids between six and 12 years old, the third class offers valuable swim lessons to improve their skills.

Mark your calendars because the two-week session is set to kick off on July 28 and runs through Aug. 6. The classes are held at convenient times of 10:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m., each lasting for 30 minutes. The venue for these exciting lessons is the Silver Mesa Pool, located at 4095 Allen Lane, just off of West Alexander Road.
