Miranda Lambert Is A NY Times Best Selling Author

Miranda Lambert is now a best-selling author.
She has accomplished a lot in her career: She’s a Grammy winner, ACM Entertainer of the Year, an entrepreneur, and a philanthropist. Now, she can add a best-selling author to that list, as her cookbook, ‘Y’all Eat Yet? Welcome to the Pretty B*tchin’ Kitchen,’ is on the heralded New York Times Best Sellers List.
“OMG, y’all. I just got a call from my publishers that ‘Y’all Eat Yet? Welcome to the Pretty B*tchin’ Kitchen’ is No. 3 on the New York Times Best Selling List,” Lambert says in an emotional social media video.
“I can’t actually believe that. I’m so grateful and just, I can’t believe it. It’s for my Nonny in heaven. She is partying tonight — I know it. And I’m just beside myself that people would want to hear our stories and join our sisterhood. This is crazy,” she adds, appearing to hold back some tears.
What is the last book that you read, and would you recommend it?

  • "The House That Built Me"

This song, released in 2010, tells the story of a woman who returns to the house where she grew up in order to find solace and heal from the struggles of adulthood. The lyrics describe the memories and emotions that flood the woman’s mind as she walks through each room of the house. The song resonated with listeners for its nostalgic and heartfelt message, and it won multiple awards, including the Grammy for Best Female Country Vocal Performance.

  • "Gunpowder & Lead"

This fierce, up-tempo song was released in 2008 and became a fan favorite for its empowering message. The lyrics tell the story of a woman who has been abused by her partner and has finally had enough. She declares that she’s loading up her shotgun with “gunpowder and lead” and is ready to fight back. The song’s catchy chorus and Lambert’s powerful vocals make it a standout in her catalog.

  • "Bluebird"

Released in 2019, “Bluebird” is a more optimistic and uplifting song than some of Lambert’s previous work. The lyrics describe a woman who has been through tough times but still finds hope and joy in life. The chorus repeats the phrase “if the house just keeps on winning, I got a wildcard up my sleeve,” indicating that the woman is resilient and determined to keep going. The song’s bright melody and Lambert’s soulful vocals make it a feel-good anthem for fans.
