To say we had a “Good Day” in Las Vegas at the ‘Songs About You’ Tour with Brett Eldredge would be a colossal understatement.
The Brett Eldredge Soundcheck Party VIP Experience was surreal. It was like a private Brett Eldredge concert held exclusively for 22 lucky, Coyote Country listeners in the most incredible of settings. The once in a lifetime experience took place right before the ‘Songs About You’ tour stop on Sunday, July 24th at the elegant, Venetian Theater at the Venetian Resort Las Vegas.
The show opener, Breland, burst onto the stage like an explosion of positive energy, a solar flare! His mixture of country rap, gospel, R&B, soul and classic country was just what we needed on a Sunday night to get us pumped up for the hit parade that followed when Brett Eldredge hit the stage. Breland shared with the audience that he had just become an uncle hours before taking the stage which added extra joy to his set.
Brett Eldredge owned the stage. His velvety smooth voice was in prime shape for the 17 song set. From his opening, ‘Holy Water’ and navigating through all of his radio hits and fan favorites, the ‘Songs About You’ singer didn’t disappoint. Brett was equally impressed with the Las Vegas crowd and felt at home in the Venetian Theater. He referenced his holiday ‘Glow Tour’ and how the theater reminded him of the theaters that he plays on his popular Christmas tour. He seemed to get nostalgic for a moment as Mr. Christmas looked around the beautiful surroundings and wondered if the future Christmas shows might bring their magic and joy to the Venetian. That’s one present I’d like to receive this Christmas.
