Downtown Vegas Is The Place To Be For St. Patrick’s Day 2024
Fremont Street Experience in Downtown Las Vegas announced its plans for St. Patrick’s Day 2024. And it looks like they’re going all out for everyone’s favorite Irish holiday. It’ll be four days worth of events, drink specials, and nonstop live music and entertainment. Plus a festive party vibe you’re sure to remember until next March.
St. Patrick’s Day 2024 On Fremont Street In Las Vegas
There are lots of Irish pubs scattered throughout all parts of the Las Vegas Valley. And plenty of non-Irish restaurants are also doing specials for St. Patty’s Day. So, locals and visitors will have options for where to celebrate the holiday. But for all the fun you can take all in one place, there’s nowhere in town that will compare to Fremont Street.
The festival that will take over Fremont Street Experience is called the Shamrock Bash. It will go from Thursday, March 14 through Sunday, March 17. There will be live entertainment from 22 different bands throughout the weekend. Including The Black Donnelly’s, who locals know from their frequent visits to the Mandalay Bay’s RiRa Irish Pub.
For those looking for a little harder sound, Canadian rock band, the Arcana Kings, will also be there. Look for them performing Friday through Sunday. They’ll be kicking off their show each night at 9 p.m.
Local California band Craic In The Stone will be bringing the Celtic vibe with originals and covers. They will be coming to the Shamrock Bash for a Saturday night performance.
There will be a Firefighters Parade at noon that will end at about 1 p.m. in front of Hogs and Heifers. That’s when the Firefighters Challenge Games will start. Both the parade and games are family-friendly and free to watch.
Other entertainment will include authentic Irish bands, Celtic dancers, a flash mob, and performances by the cirque-style show, the Half Court Hotties.
St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl in Downtown Vegas
And of course, no St. Patty’s day party would be complete without the traditional pub crawl. Visitors will find a lot of drink specials scattered throughout the many pubs on Fremont Street. And the drinks will be flowing all weekend.
There are a ton of bars to stop by, so you won’t have to worry about getting bored if you’re there all four days. Bars on Fremont include Crooked Cricket Bar, F The Bar, Oak & Ivy, Bin 702, ZAI Rooftop Bar, The Laundry Room, Lucky Day, Corduroy, The Griffin, and Hennessy’s Tavern. A little further down Fremont, on Main Street, is Vegas Vickie’s, and Don’t Tell Mama’s karaoke bar is one street up on Ogden.
So when it comes to entertainment, music, food and drinks, Fremont Street Experience has you covered for St. Patrick’s Day this year. Now all you have to worry about is how you’re getting home. If you’re planning to visit the Shamrock Bash for more than one night, it’s definitely worth staying at one of Fremont’s hotels.
If you plan to sleep, that is. Rookie.
