Luke Combs’ Song Becomes The Sixth Ever To Do This
Luke Combs was presented with a plaque commemorating Combs’ single “Beautiful Crazy” being certified Diamond by the RIAA. His record label Sony Music Nashville presented him with the plaque at the kick-off to CMA Fest last week.
Luke, along with his co-writer on “Beautiful Crazy” Rob Williford, received the plaque before Combs’ Bootleggers Fan Club Party on Thursday (6/8). Standing by his side when he got the honor was his wife Nicole, Combs’ inspiration for the song.
“Beautiful Crazy” is the sixth country song in RIAA history to achieve over 10 million copies sold.
The other five country songs with diamond certifications are Lady A’s “Need You Now,” from 2009, Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus with “Old Town Road,” released in 2019, Chris Stapleton’s “Tennessee Whiskey” (2015), Darius Rucker’s “Wagon Wheel” (2013), and Florida Georgia Line’s “Cruise” (2012).

Combs recently announced via his Instagram that in July, every stadium date he will play would add a second stadium show on his World Tour. The second shows will be added in Tampa, Charlotte, Boston, and Philadelphia.
Luke posted a video on his Instagram saying, “What’s up guys? Luke here. So, I got some exciting news for you all. We are adding a second show to all the stadiums in July. So that’s gonna be Philly, Boston, Charlotte, and Tampa. All of you guys are getting a Friday night show. All those shows are actually gonna have different lineups than Saturday night.”
He added, “Tickets will be released on Friday (6/10), which is super exciting. Obviously, if you’re in the Bootleggers, you’re gonna get a first chance at those. But we’re looking forward to doing a second night in all these cities, guys; I can’t wait to see you there.”
The added dates are July 7 in Tampa, July 14 in Charlotte, July 21 in Boston, and July 28 in Philadelphia.
