Reba McEntire Announced As ‘The Voice’ Season 24 Coach
Reba McEntire will be an official coach on Season 24 of NBC’s The Voice. Reba mentored Blake Shelton’s final team this season, causing some to speculate that she might become a coach. Other Season 24 Voice coaches are Niall Horan, Gwen Stefani, and John Legend. The Voice made the announcement on Instagram.
Season 24 will be McEntire’s first time in the Coaches chair, but this is far from McEntire’s debut on The Voice. Not only is she the Mega Mentor on Season 23 of The Voice, but she also served as a Battle Advisor to Team Blake back in Season 1.
Reba said in a recent interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show, “It’s so much fun to be back on The Voice again. It’s always a lot of fun to give advice because I study people when they perform, and I want to be touched when they’re singing to me.”

McEntire recently announced she will release a new ranch-inspired book titled Not That Fancy: Simple Lessons on Living, Loving, Eating and Dusting Off Your Boots on October 10. The book will include over 50 recipes for complete meals, desserts, cocktails, and more from Reba’s family traditions.
It will also include exclusive photographs and never-before-told stories of Reba’s personal and professional life — from ranching with her Daddy to pranks on the road and to falling in love and some lighthearted lifestyle tips. The book will be available as a hardcover, digital, and audiobook.
Reba posted to her Instagram the cover of the new book last month. She wrote, “I’m so excited to announce the release of my new book, #NotThatFancy, and the companion album! Tune into @talkshoplive today at 7 ET / 6 CT PM, where I’ll be talking about it with my buddy @garthbrooks. RSVP and pre-order your autographed copy at the link in bio!?”
Fans were thrilled with the news, with one writing, “Just pre-ordered my signed copy!! Cannot wait to read it!” Another fan commented, “I hope you name your next album Southern Hospitality; that’s what the interview showed. Keep Up the Great Work.”
