5 Tips for Stress-Free Holiday Travel
5 Tips for Stress-Free Holiday Travel
Holiday travel can be a drag.
Luckily, there are ways to alleviate that stress.
Here are tips from Fox News’ “Cyber Guy,” Kurt Knutsson.
1) Set up a personal hotspot wherever you go
Personal hotspots have become a MUST whenever I travel, because we all know how reliable airport WiFi can be. Most wireless companies sell devices that solely create a hotspot, but a lot of us already have the ability to create one using our phones. If you need to get some work done, a personal hotspot is a gamechanger.
2) Get the latest travel accessories
Whether it’s a Nintendo Switch, a good pair of wireless headphones or a comfy travel pillow, travel accessories can really improve the quality of your time away from home.
3) Convert currency on your smartphone
If you’re leaving the country, you’ll want to download a currency conversion app on your phone.
4) Be ready to rebook a flight if you’re delayed or canceled
This one requires a little more attention to detail than the other things on this list, but if you absolutely have to be somewhere at a certain time, it’ll benefit you to be hyper aware of the status’s of your flight/s.
5) Use a VPN to protect your privacy
Hackers are getting better and better at accessing innocent people’s data. You should protect yourself by using a VPN, especially when travelling abroad.
