Garth Brooks To Postpone Buffalo Tickets Sales Out Of Respect
Garth Brooks is postponing this Friday’s (5/20) plans to place his recently announced concert at Buffalo, New York’s Highmark Stadium (home of the NFL’s Bills) on sale.
The concert, likely one of the final events on his Stadium Tour, is not affected; it’ll still take place on July 23. A new on-sale date will be announced in the coming weeks.
Garth said in a press release, “At some point, the healing in Buffalo will begin, and the city will sing again. But for now, we pause out of respect for what the great community of Buffalo is going through, and we stand beside all of those who are hurting and confused by such an unthinkable act.”
On May 14, 2022, a mass shooting occurred in Buffalo, New York, at a Tops Friendly Markets store, a supermarket in the Kingsley neighborhood on the city’s eastern side. Ten people were killed, and three others were injured.
