Dolce & Gabbana Is Selling A Perfume For Your Pet
One of my absolute favorite things in the world is to have someone tell me I smell good. I don’t talk about this too much, but I’m a bit of a cologne guy. Which is funny, because I never used to wear cologne, but I got into fragrances a while back and it’s become a bit of a passion of mine. Over the last year, I’ve built my collection to the point where I rarely wear the same scent two days in a row. However, even though I love perfumes, even I think this story I just came across is a little silly. Dolce & Gabbana is launching a new fragrance called “Fefé”, pronounced feh-FAY, and it’s not for humans… it’s for your dog.
Yup, according to a report by CNN, the new dog perfume is available for pre-order and is named after Dolce & Gabbana’s co-founder’s dog. The perfume has already been approved by vets and is being described as an “olfactory masterpiece” by the Italian company.
Here’s How Dolce & Gabbana Describes The Scent
Dolce & Gabbana says their “Fefé” perfume has 3 notes. The top note, which is what you smell when you first spray the scent features warm notes of the ylang tree. The tree, which is native to the Philippines, produces oils that are described at the “Queen of Perfumes.”
The middle note is a touch of musk, and the final note is described as a creamy sandalwood.
Again, it has been approved by vets and Dolce & Gabbana says the scent lasts all day.
What Does A Designer Dog Perfume Cost?
If price isn’t something you’re worried about, a 3.5-ounce bottle of “Fefé” will set you back $100. Part of the reason the perfume is so expensive is because the bottle features a 24-karat gold-plated logo. Luxury ain’t cheap, y’all.
However, it should be mentioned that you’ll also get some additional goodies when you purchase Dolce & Gabbana’s dog perfume. With purchase, Dolce & Gabbana will throw in a dog collar and a personalized name tag for your pup.
