Carrie Underwood: The Big Gift From Miranda Lambert
Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert had a big duet in 2014 called “Somethin’ Bad” that went all the way to number one on the country charts. The two superstars debuted the song at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards.
The popular song also received a Grammy nomination for Best Country Duo/Group Performance. The song also featured a fun music video that shows the two getting in all kinds of trouble and riding big motorcycles to get away.
Carrie told CMT this week that, after the shoot, Miranda gifted her one of the motorcycles, and she still has it. She said, “Miranda actually bought me the motorcycle from the ‘Somethin’ Bad” video.”
Underwood added that she still has the motorcycle in her garage, and while she has been on the bike herself, it is quite big, and her husband mostly rides it now. She noted when he says he’s taking his bike for a ride, she corrects him, saying, ‘You mean my bike.'”
CMT posted to their Instagram, “It’s so cool that @carrieunderwood still has the “Somethin’ Bad” motorcycle to this day!”

Underwood and her family are safe after their house caught on fire South of Nashville last week (6/16) around 9:40 PM CT.
Leiper’s Fork fire crews rushed to the scene on her Williamson County property in the Pinewood community.
Williamson County Fire Rescue told Nashville TV station WKRN TV that the county dispatched all eight of its stations to Underwood’s property because of the home’s remote location. The fire crews had to travel up a long road and then up a long driveway to the primary residence. First responders found a fully-involved fire in the property’s garage.
A spokesperson for the country star released a statement, saying in part, “There was a fire on the property on Sunday night, which was quickly contained. There was no fire damage to the primary residence, and the family and their pets were unharmed.”
Because the large home already had a 10,000-gallon water tank on the premises, firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire. However, the fire got into the walls and flared back up in hot spots, so firefighters remained on the scene for several hours.
Officials said investigators are working to determine what sparked the fire near the garage.
