Morgan Wallen Leads This Year’s Country Billboard Music Awards Winners

The day ended better than it started for Morgan Wallen. Earlier in the day he was was in a Nashville court, pleading guilty to two misdemeanor counts ; he was sentenced to two years probation and seven days in a DUI education center and has to pay a $350 fine. But at night, he won a bunch of Billboard Music Awards, including the all-genre Best Male Artist award, beating out Zach Bryan, Luke Combs, Post Malone and Drake.

Wallen also won Top Country Artist, Top Country Male Artist and Top Collaboration for "I Had Some Help" with Post Malone. Wallen wasn't present at the show but he shared a video thanking the fans.

Another big winner was Shaboozey, who won Top Song Sales Artist, Top Selling Song "A Bar Song (Tipsy)", and Top Country Song "A Bar Song (Tipsy)."

Jelly Roll, meanwhile, won an award in the Rock category Top Hard Rock Song for "All My Life," a collaboration with the band Falling In Reverse.

Zach Bryan won five awards across rock and country: he won Best Country Touring Artist, Top Rock Artist, Top Country Album, Top Streaming Song and Top Rock Song. As usual, Taylor Swift won a bunch of awards: she took home ten, including Top Artist and Top Female Artist.
