Circa Is Hosting a ‘Do-Over’ Party For 2020 Graduates
2020 graduates totally got a raw deal. It’s wild to think all that craziness happened 4 years ago, and because we’re almost half a decade removed from it all, I think it’s safe to say that a lot of people probably have also forgotten about one of the pandemic’s victims… kids getting to be kids and getting to celebrate their achievements.
Circa Is Hosting a ‘Do-Over’ For 2020 Graduates
The Circa Resort and Casino is looking to fix that. The resort has announced that they are planning a huge party to commemorate the achievements of any Clark County School District (CCSD) students who didn’t get to celebrate with a normal graduation ceremony due to the COVID-19 pandemic! The Circa is putting together an event they’re calling “The 2020 Stadium Swim Grad Splash” and it’ll be happening on June 14th! It’ll be Circa’s way of providing the class of 2020 the party they deserve, but never got!
Circa Wants To Make Things Right
According to a report by News 3 Las Vegas, the CEO of Circa, Derek Stevens, had this to say about the upcoming event, “The class of 2020 was robbed of any kind of celebration for this once-in-a-lifetime milestone,” Stevens continued, “Now that these graduates are over 21, we here at Circa want to make things right…”
But it won’t only be a party for the kids. Derek Stevens also opened up the invitation to any school staff who played crucial roles within the CCSD school year.
2020 Graduates Can Win Their School A $10,000 Grant
The entire event will be sponsored by PRIME rehydration drink and the school with the highest number of students and staff in attendance at the party will be walking away with a $10,000 grant!
Also, according to a post on Circa’s Twitter/X account, there will be a photo booth for partygoers, complimentary food and drinks, and they plan to do a champagne shower too!
