Western Footwear Giant Ariat Opens Flagship Store In Las Vegas
Las Vegas has an enormous country scene and local hotspots like Gilley’s Saloon, Dance Hall, & Bar-B-Que can testify. Blake Shelton has even crashed the 702 scene by bringing his 100 proof bar, Ole Red to Las Vegas Blvd. Boot lovers will be excited to hear that the leader in western and equestrian footwear, Ariat is expanding their brand to the Vegas country scene.

You have read right, an official flagship store is opening at 63 Las Vegas on the corner of Las Vegas Blvd. and Harmon Ave. According to the press release, this will be their biggest location out of their company-owned locations offering the largest selection of Ariat products. Fans of the brand will be able to purchase new releases and best-sellers right on the Las Vegas Strip. The store is located next to the pedestrian bridge between Aria Las Vegas and the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, next to Ocean Prime.
History Of Ariat – And The Inspiration Behind The Name
Ariat has trailblazed the country footwear scene for over three decades. According to their website, they launched in 1993 with a branded motto of “A New Breed Of Boot.” They offer their customers a wide selection of boots including: western, work, English and outdoor. And that’s not all. They also offer Western wear for every occasion. Their websites states that the Ariat name is inspired by the legendary Kentucky Derby racehorse, Secretariat. CEO and Co-Founder, Beth Cross states on the Ariat website how, “Secretariat’s big heart and competitive spirit were the motivations behind naming our company Ariat.” Ariat is not just another country fashion brand but an outlet for country enthusiasts to showcase their individual personalities.
Grand Opening Party
To celebrate their new Vegas roots the new Vegas residents are hosting a celebratory open with performances from California native and country music singer, Annie Bosko, who is also an Ariat Ambassador. Annie is known for her mega hits, “Crooked Halo” and “Neon Baby.” She also stopped by the Coyote Country booth during Cowboy Christmas to perform for lucky listeners. Their Instagram states that complementary drinks will be offered. Plus, if you’re a denim-collector, FREE denim embroidery will be available with any denim purchase.
