Google’s New Artificial Intelligence Features Sound Awesome
Artificial intelligence (A.I.) was absolutely the biggest star of the show at this year’s CES. But now that the Consumer Electronics Show is behind us, some companies, like Google are teasing some really fascinating things that A.I. might be making possible soon. For example, have you ever looked at something and thought, “I wish my phone could tell me what that is.” According to a new CCN article, it might be possible. And it’s a feature that may be coming sooner than you think.
A New Way To Search
It’s being branded as a “new way to search” according to the folks at Google. They claim that several new A.I.-inspired ways to search are being rolled out in 2024. The one that’s most fascinating to me is something called “Circle Search.” Google says you’ll have the ability to “draw a circle around something on your screen” and apparently, they will use artificial intelligence to tell you about it.
You have to wonder how accurate it’ll be. If you draw a circle around the Eiffel Tower on the Las Vegas strip, I wonder if it’ll be smart enough to tell you about the on in Vegas. OR will it’ll see the tower and tell you about the one in Paris?

Their second feature is being labeled an A.I. powered multi search experience. The example Google gave takes you to a yard sale. They say, “Imagine finding a board game. You can use multi-search to discover how to play it.”
I think that’s pretty cool, but I can’t wait to point it at things I wanna buy and ask it to find it on sale!
