Kelsea Ballerini Was ‘Replaced’ on Jonas Brothers Song
Kelsea Ballerini took fan questions on her Insta Stories on Friday (11/17) and got rather frank with her following when asked if she was going to do a Jonas Brothers collaboration. She revealed that she was initially featured on the group’s “Strong Enough.” The song now features Baily Zimmerman.
Kelsea responded to the fan’s question, “To be so honest, I was on ‘Strong Enough’ but did indeed get replaced haha haha, but Bailey is sick.”
In 2016, she and Nick Jonas performed her song “Peter Pan” on the ACM Awards show, where he played a guitar solo that critics panned. Later, he told the media that the performance “sent him to therapy.”
Ballerini has made so secret of the fact that she is a huge Jonas Brothers fan and even opened shows on their tour in 2021.

Bailey and the Jonas Brothers posted about the new song on Instagram. They captioned a video clip of the video, #StrongEnough at @collegegameday (fire emoji).”
Many fans reacted to the post, including one who wrote, “Always good to see the guys!” Another fan commented, “Love these MEN.”

Kelsea learned earlier this month (11/10) that she is nominated for a GRAMMY for the fourth time in her career. This time, Kelsea is nominated among Lainey Wilson, Brothers Osborne, Tyler Childers, and Zach Bryan in the Best Country Album category for Rolling Up The Welcome Mat.
Ballerini said, “Making this record was simply my way of making sense of a really emotionally complicated place in my life. I went to one of my best friends and collaborators, Alysa Vanderheym, and she quietly and diligently helped me write my truth. I really don’t have the words for the pride I feel for this music and the way that it’s connected with people.”
She added, “It’s like nothing I’ve ever experienced. I’m deeply grateful to the Recording Academy for this honor. I am truly beaming.”
