Paws In The Park 2023
Paws In The Park 2023 is taking place Saturday, November 4 at Desert Breeze Park. If you're an animal lover this is the event for you. And no the event isn't just for man's best friend.
We hope to see birds, gerbils, fish and maybe the occasional pig for a day filled full of activities, great food and awesome performances.
This year the Findlay Chevy Stage is hosting two talented bands, The Band Camino and Weathers.
If you're not familiar with their music, this is the perfect opportunity to get to know them.
THE BAND CAMINO
Memphians, The Band Camino, is a pop-rock consisting of Jeffery Jordan (vocals, guitar), Spencer Stewart (vocals, guitar) and Garrison Burgess (drums). The group came to be in 2015 and are still going strong eight years later.
They have a signature sound that can turn almost anyone's mood around. The trio's released their first EP, "My Thoughts On You" which featured their hit track, "2/14" which has 78 million Spotify streams and 627,000 views on YouTube. They have two released studio albums including, "The Band Camino" (2021) and "The Dark" (2023).
The band just wrapped up their 25 city "Screaming In The Dark" World Tour which started on September 14 in Philadelphia, PA and ended in their now home, Nashville, TN on October 21, 2023!
Their pop melodies and emotional lyrics form to make the perfect songs that resonate with listeners of all ages.
WEATHERS
Los Angeles locals, Weathers is an alterative-rock band consisting of Cameron Boyer (vocals, guitar), Cameron Olsen (guitar), and Brennen Bates (bass). The band formed in 2015, with a strive for making great music. The band sings on topics covering, mental health, friendships and their passion for eighties and nineties nostalgia.
They released their first single "Happy Pills" on June 3, 2016 which had a massive reach with listeners. The song accumulated 164 million Spotify streams and has over 33 million views on YouTube. The band has released a few EPs with three official studio albums including, "Kids in the Night" (2018), "Pillows and Therapy" (2021) and "Are We Having Fun? (2023)".
In a press release from their label, “We want you to walk away feeling like you were heard, and it’s okay to not be okay,” Boyer leaves off. “At the same time, we’re trying to get out of the darkness, because no one wants to be in the dark for too long. There’s a light at the end of the tunnel. When you’re on the floor crying, you’re not the only one.”
Like us, the band knows what it's like to be human with human emotions.
Catch both of these amazing bands LIVE at Paws In The Park on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Desert Breeze Park.

Paws In The Park: Cute Dogs, Cats, Pony Overtake Desert Breeze Park
A few animals were able to finally find a home this past weekend, avoiding an uncertain future that many abandoned animals experience.
The community of Las Vegas came together on Saturday, Nov. 12 to help an amazing cause: Finding homes for foster animals.
Beasley Media Group hosted Paws in the Park at Desert Breeze Park. The event wrangled together the city's rescues and shelters, allowing attendees to see animals of all kinds.
The NSPCA Adoption Center filled the space with adorable animals, who needed homes and loving families to care for them. People crowded around the adoption pens, which were buzzing with furry puppies and lovely dogs who were all eager to meet and play with people.
People cooed over the adorable animals with many families crowding around the adoption center, Throughout the day, most animals were adopted!
As people cradled their new family members, it was truly a beautiful sight to see the start of a new chapter for many.
Along with the adoption center, the event in its entirety was amazing.
We had LIVE entertainment as well. Ian Flanigan, Social Order, Bat out of Hell, Alec Benjamin and Soul of Motown performed.
The performers elevated the event and provided another level of entertainment that kept everyone from any age entertained!
Thank you to all of our sponsors who made this day possible!
It was a perfect day the park. We had amazing vendors such as S'Barkling Clean Pet Grooming who had splash pads and brought their mobile grooming service. Bruster's also had a Kid Zone that was a total hit! It was simply sweet to see the kids play and toss themselves around the "ninja" obstacle course.
It was a beautiful day to celebrate our furry family members and to honor new ones who would soon call a new place "home."
Thank you to everyone who attended! We hope to see you next year.
