Reba: ‘Devastated’ By Taylor Swift/Travis Kelce Romance
Reba McEntire has been on all kinds of talk shows in the last week, promoting her new book Not That Fancy: Simple Lessons on Living, Loving, Eating, and Dusting Off Your Boots. And when she appeared on the Today Show, she was asked about the Travis Kelce / Taylor Swift romance. The country icon had something to say about the new couple.
Reba joked, “Oh, my gosh, I am so mad at her because I had a crush on him. Now I can’t have a crush anymore because he’s dating her. I was so devastated.”
She then called Kelce her “boyfriend,” who cheated on her. Reba then revealed that her real boyfriend, Rex Linn, is not bothered by the crush but has teased her a bit about it. She said that when Kelce and Swift Taylor started dating, Rex would rub it in, noting that her “boyfriend’s got another girlfriend.”
As a Chiefs fan, Reba admitted that she often commented on Kelce’s appearance, telling Rex how “cute” the football player is.
Reba first met Linn in 1991 when they did a TV movie, The Gambler Returns: The Luck of the Draw together. The two reconnected while working on Young Sheldon nearly three decades later.

Reba recently released a new song and video for the Not That Fancy album that accompanies the new book. The song is called “Seven Minutes In Heaven,” and it is a moving tribute to Reba’s mother, Jacqueline, who died at the age of 93 in March of 2020.
The lyrics to the new song include, “If I had seven minutes in Heaven / I know just what I’d do / Take a walk down those golden streets / And find a quiet corner booth / I wouldn’t spend all my seconds asking God questions / ‘Cause He knows I’d be back soon / If I had seven minutes in Heaven / I’d spend them all with you.”
