Jelly Roll Signed His Autograph On A Fan’s Butt: Here’s Why
Jelly Roll is quickly gaining a huge fan base. One fan recently showed his love for all things Jelly when he met the singer and had him sign his right butt cheek. Jelly Roll shared another fan’s post about the signing on his Insta stories.
One fan wrote over an image of the new tattoo, which was done by a company called Erasing Tattoos. In the same Insta stories post, Jelly shared another tattoo a fan had gotten, one with his face clinching his teeth on a guy’s leg. Jelly is obviously a fan of tattoos and has many on his body. Including, as we all know, his face, neck, and head.
Meanwhile, Jelly Roll appeared on the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville last night (6/27) and sang a few songs for the cheering Opry crowd. When Jelly made his Grand Ole Opry debut in February of 2021, he received a standing ovation from the crowd, including his wife Bunnie and his teenage daughter Ballee, and he was brought to tears.

Jelly recently told us that it was one friend in particular who made his mom's nickname stick.
Jelly said when we asked him about the origin of his nickname and professional moniker, “Well, it started with my mother. I was a chunky little kid who loved donuts, and every Sunday after church, I would get one, and my mom would call me Little Jelly Roll.”
He continued, “And then I had a high school friend named One-Armed Clay, [in] middle school actually, that started calling me that because he knew it was my mama’s nickname for me, and it stuck once One-Armed Clay started calling me that.”
Jelly then pointed out that nicknames are not the same as stage names for one reason. He asked, “Do you know what the difference is between a nickname and a stage name? You wanna guess? You don’t get to pick your nickname. [But] you could pick your stage name. I would have been Zeus the Warrior or something if I got to pick it. I think that’s what makes a nickname so cool.”
