Lainey Wilson Plans To Be Wearing Bell Bottoms Into Her 90s
Lainey Wilson had a photo shoot with People magazine in May at her Nashville home, posing in different outfits in her backyard near her pool. She talked about everything from moving to Nashville to her early days as a Hannah Montana impersonator to her love of country icon Dolly Parton. Lainey also spoke about her fashion style, which has included wearing bell-bottom pants for the last eight years.
When asked about how many bell bottoms she has, she quipped, “There’s no such thing as too many.” Lainey added of her flared style, “We still keep it fun. We still keep it interesting. I feel like I get to get up every single morning and get to express myself however I am feeling that day, just like writing a song.”
Wilson also noted that in the future, she doesn’t see herself giving up what has now become her signature look, wearing bell bottoms. She said, “I’ll probably be 90 years old and still wearing bell bottoms—I don’t think anybody’s ever seen my ankles!”

Lainey was quite excited about being featured in People magazine and posted six images from the photo shoot outside by her pool on her Instagram. She captioned the post, “A real dream come true (star emoji). I got to hang with some amazing folks at @people and chat about my life, music, bell-bottom country fashion, and everything in between. Y’all check it out now on people.com.”
Many fans reacted to her post, including one who wrote, “Oh yeah buddy, this makes me want to RUUUUN to my local record store and buy her album!! LOL.” Another fan commented, “You are amazing!
