Kelly Clarkson Says Her Children Wish for Reunion with Ex
Kelly Clarkson and her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock have been living separate lives since 2020. But guess what? Their two adorable kids, 9-year-old River Rose and 7-year-old Remington “Remy” Alexander, haven’t given up on the idea that their parents might just get back together someday. Talk about keeping the dream alive!
Holding onto Hope
Kelly spilled the beans, saying, “My kids just came back from my ex and it’s always like — any time there’s mention of maybe him being with somebody else — they are just really adamant about keeping that dream alive that we might still be together one day. We are never around each other.” Aw, those kiddos are holding onto hope and wishing for some family reunion magic.
Now, Kelly also mentioned that ever since her divorce was finalized last year, she feels she’s become a “far better mother.” Sometimes, tough situations can lead to personal growth, right?
Irreconcilable Differences
Kelly Clarkson and Brandon were married for a good seven years before they called it quits due to those infamous “irreconcilable differences.” Divorce can be tough on the whole family, and it’s not uncommon for kids to secretly wish for their parents to reunite. They crave that sense of unity and the familiar family dynamic they once knew.
