Gwen Stefani Surprises Carly Pearce With Some Goodies
Carly Pearce has been touring with Blake Shelton since February, and this weekend, Blake’s “Back To The Honky Tonk Tour” wraps with shows in Pittsburgh and Buffalo, New York. Blake’s wife, Gwen Stefani, surprised Carly over the weekend by personally delivering a gift to her.
Gwen posted a video of the surprise on her Instagram. She said in the video of herself coming in a private plane and packing a special box of her “Give” makeup for Pearce, “Carly Pearce, you told me you’re a Give fan; I’m about ready to set you up.” When she gets to the venue, Stefani walks down the hall with a black Give box in hand; she says, “We’re doing it. Carly Pearce, where are you? Carly!” She finds Carly sitting in a room, and Pearce squeals, “Oh my gosh.” Gwen says, “All the way from Los Angeles.” Carly says, “Yeah, oh my gosh, my favorite, (Pearce pulls out a lipstick) I told her I brought my own earlier to the show because I just wanted to show her this is all I use.”
Stefani posted, “All the way from LA, @carlypearce, thank u for always supporting and being a @gxvebeauty cheerleader; love u !! gx.”
Carly also posted the video to her Instagram, writing, “I’ve been such a fan of @gxvebeauty lip products, wearing them for EVERY show & this sweet angel heard about it and surprised me with the most amazing gift box! I (emoji heart) you big @gwenstefani!!!”

Before the tour kicked off in February, Carly told us why it means so much to her to tour with Shelton and one thing, in particular, she’s looking forward to on tour.
Pearce said, “Blake has been so good to me through this last six years. And at every step, he’s just encouraged me and made me feel like he really supported the kind of country music that I was making. So, at this point in my career, to be able to be in that direct support slot with him. I almost feel like I graduated. I do respect him so much as an artist, and just the way that his brand has built.” She added, “I’m really, really excited. He’s been one of my favorite people in the industry. And I have to say, I really love Gwen as well, so we’re gonna have girl time.”
