Reba: How She Met Her Boyfriend Rex Linn
Fans might have assumed that Reba and her new boyfriend Rex Linn met on the set of CBS’s Young Sheldon, where they both have recurring parts, but that is not the case.
Reba told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, “I met him in 1991 when we were doing Kenny Rogers’ movie The Gambler. We were both on that in 1991. And we’ve kept in contact with each other over the years. We both know the same people.”
Reba said of the two getting together in 2020, “So it was just like good friends getting back together having dinner in January, and then we started texting and talking on the telephone, getting to know each other better during the quarantine.”
, Reba has been working on new music inspired by their relationship and told Good Morning America that she was as “giddy as a teenager” about it.
She also told GMA that just before the pandemic, she and Rex shared, “Discussions about our past, our family, funny stories, him being an actor, me being an actress. And he’s very into my music. I’m very into his career. It’s just great getting to talk to somebody who I find very interesting, very funny, very smart and is interested in me, too.”
