The Stage That Makes Brothers Osborne Nervous
Brothers Osborne recently spent three nights performing at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium, and cameras were there to capture the behind-the-scenes magic.
The video clip opens with the guys getting their instruments ready and TJ says, “We’ve had the honor of playing this room several times but this is the first time we’ve headlined. It’s so important to us that every time we come here I feel like there’s never a moment where I don’t have at least some sort of anxiousness or nerves stepping on the stage and it’s a nice feeling.”
John says, “The shows here are always different than other shows and I think that has a lot to do with the history of the room and the shape of the room. There is an intimacy. This place is tuned acoustically to sound great and that’s the best thing about the Ryman Auditorium.”
When the guys played the Ryman back in February, their shows included guests like Dierks Bentley and Maren Morris. John admits, “We love having guests on stage. If it was up to us we’d have a hundred buses.”
Brothers Osborne are currently touring with a show at The Cotillion Ballroom in Wichita, Kansas tomorrow night.
