New inductees into the Country Music Hall of Fame were announced this morning in Nashville and Brooks & Dunn, Ray Stevens, and Jerry Bradley will be the next members to be officially inducted in October during a special ceremony.

Brooks and Dunn's Ronnie Dunn shared upon getting the honor, "It's beyond an honor to be here. It hasn't soaked into to me but I'm sure it will when I have a moment." He then said to Kix, "I got your back partner."

"I think probably one of the first places I visited when I came to town was the Country Music Hall of Fame," said an emotional Kix. "I'm just a fan of country music that's why we dedicated our lives to do this. The faces on this wall I will never consider my peers, I idolize them. And the fact that I can just share a little space on that wall it's hard to describe how that makes you feel."

Ray Stevens, best known for his comedy songs and parodies said upon receiving country music's biggest honor, "This is without a doubt the greatest honor anyone can receive not only in country music but in business. Thank you to the CMA and my family and my staff. "

Reba was supposed to announce the new inductees but has been sick with strep and had to cancel her hosting as well as a few concert dates coming up.

She shared on her socials Saturday night.
