Dolly Parton Performs with Little Big Town, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry on Grammys
Dolly Parton sang with several big acts in country and pop music as they paid tribute her on the 61st Annual Grammy Awards, for being this year’s MusiCares person of The Year.
The tribute kicked off with Kacey Musgraves and Katy Perry dressed in red singing “Here You Come Again” as Dolly joins them on stage. Then without missing a beat Dolly says, “Where’s My Miley?” as her goddaughter Miley Cyrus joins her for her 1970’s smash hit “Jolene.”
Maren Morris then joins Dolly and Miley for a version “After The Gold Rush,” a Neil Young song that Dolly recorded with the Trio Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt in the 1980s.
Little Big Town with Jimi Dressed in a Dolly Parton t-shirt, then joined the true Queen of Country Music for a brand new Dolly song called “Red Shoes” from Parton’s new Dumplin’ movie soundtrack. Fittingly, Dolly, Kimberly and Karen of LBT all wore red shoes.
Everyone then came back out to finish the set with Parton’s smash hit “9 to 5” in which the whole Grammy crowd stood and sang along to.
