2019 Grammy Winner: Best Country Album – Kacey Musgraves ‘Golden Hour’
Kacey Musgraves won her third Grammy of the night when Luke Combs, Megan Trainor and Kane Brown read the winner for Best Country Album went to Kacey’s Golden Hour.
A very gracious and excited Kacey told the crowd, “I never dreamed that this record would be met with such love, such warmth, such positivity. I love country music with everything that I am and I’m really proud to get to share that with the world.”
After tanking her manager, she turned her attention to her husband saying, “Thank you so much to my family, my sweet husband is down here, Ruston, I love you. Thank you to all the fans that have spread nothing but positivity about this album and you really gave it wings. It means so much to me thank you so much.”
Kacey’s other Grammy wins for tonight were for Best Country Solo Performance for “Butterflies,” and Best Country Song for “Space Cowboy.”
Musgraves also performed a song called “Rainbow” from her Grammy Winning album Golden Hour.
