Chick-fil-A Opens Restaurant Right Next To Another Chick-fil-A
Ordinarily, Chick-fil-A isn’t known for making unwise business decisions, but their latest move to open a fast-food restaurant right next to another Chick-fil-A raised a few eyebrows.
According to Inc., the new Chick-fil-A, which opened on Merritt Island in Florida last week, is around 300 feet away from another Chick-fil-A.
Apparently, people really like Chick-fil-A in Merritt Island, okay?!
But, this story gets even more interesting.
Prior to the chain opening its second set of doors in the area, Chick-fil-A lovers actually camped out in the parking lot.
No, it’s not Christmas in August. No, they weren’t giving away big screen TVs.
Did they want to be the first one’s to bite into a chicken sandwich at the new restaurant?
Not quite, rather the first 100 customers were granted free Chick-fil-A for a whole year!
Okay, okay that’s a pretty sweet perk.
We still can’t get past the two restaurants being within a few feet of each other though.
It’s odd, right?
