Chris Stapleton Rules On American Jukeboxes
“Don’t rock the jukebox,” Alan Jackson once appealed. And judging by a new report from the digital jukebox company TouchTunes, music fans are doing a pretty good job of respecting that request.
A full half of TouchTunes’ top 10 most-played artists and most-played songs in 2017 were country. And sitting at the top of both lists? None other than CMA Male Vocalist of the Year Chris Stapleton. Jon Pardi, meanwhile, was the most-played newcomer, and Eric Church, Luke Bryan, Johnny Cash, George Strait, Sam Hunt and Garth Brooks made appearances as well. (See both lists below.)
