Danielle Bradbery Explains Her New Album Title
Danielle Bradbery’s new album title I Don’t Believe We’ve Met quickly got people talking. Many assumed there was some hidden love story behind it, or that it was the name a of a song on the project. Neither is true.
The real story behind the title is pretty innocent, actually. “It’s little bit of an eye opener for a lot of fans and just people,” Danielle says through her record label. “People ask me, ‘Oh is that a song on the album?’ I’m like, ‘Actually, no it’s just the name we fell upon naturally.'”
“Sway”
The title grew instead out of plain ol’ conversation in the presence of some record label executives. “We were just having a conversation one day and I introduced myself as ‘Oh, I don’t believe we’ve met,” Danielle continues. “And we all as a team caught on to that and continued to work with it. It made complete sense [in that] I’ve just been wanting to reintroduce myself. I’m growing up and I just want my fans to know a little bit more about what I am, what type of music I really listen to, what music I’m into, and just kind of bring it all together. So I’m really happy with the title and people seem to be catching on pretty quick.”
The first single from the new project is called “Sway” and it’s already making headway at radio. Check it out above. Keep track of Danielle’s upcoming concert dates here.
