Danielle Bradbery On Being A Role Model
Sometimes being a music star means being a role model, though not all stars embrace that idea. Danielle Bradbery does, however, and is flattered by it.
The attention is surprising sometimes, even unbelievable. “It makes me feel really good,” Danielle says through her record label. “I mean, for example, during meet and greets I look around and I say, ‘Wow, these people are here to meet me.’ And it’s crazy how this just happens and I just look down the line and there’s little girls standing there with their little papers all excited and, and I look at them and I smile and they go crazy and hold onto their moms. I’m like, that is insane.”

Sometimes their message is more personal and her fans mention the story shared shared on The Voice about being bullied in school. “[They say] ‘I heard your story on The Voice [about how] you got bullied in middle school and I’m having trouble with that,'” Daniell continues. “Just hearing that, it’s like, wow. I’ve always wanted to make an impact on people and help them get through something and I’ve always wanted to do that through my music. Now I get to and it makes me feel amazing.”
Daniell’s new album I Don’t Believe We’ve Met comes out December 1st. The first singe “Sway” is out now.
