What Ever Happened To Brantley Gilbert’s Dog Sylo?
Country stars taking their dogs on the road isn’t new. Miranda Lambert and Brett Eldredge come to mind, for example. Taking pets on the road doesn’t always work out, however, as Brantley Gilbert came to realize with his dog Sylo.
Brantley got the American Bulldog three years ago and the little guy immediately became a fixture on the tour bus. It turned out to be a tough adjustment for Sylo, however, and Brantley eventually realized his dog would be happier back home on the farm.
That turned out to be true and the pup is living home life to the fullest. “He’s a mess,” Brantley says through his record label. “Since he’s been at the farm he’s kind of wild’n out now. He doesn’t have anybody that’s workin’ with him on sittin’ or stayin’ or none of that; he just runs absolutely wild.”

But Sylo doesn’t get the amount of attention he once did either. “So when he sees you he panics,” Brantley quips. “He doesn’t know what to do with himself. His whole body shakes and he tries to jump and put his hands up and touch you and do all that.”
While Sylo doesn’t appear on stage with Brantley as much as he once did, fans can click through some classic shots on a fan-created Twitter page here. Check Brantley’s upcoming tour schedule here.
