Has Brantley Gilbert‘s wife Amber caught the acting bug?
Fans might remember her co-starring role in Brantley’s video for “The Weekend,” which premiered late last year. Amber plays herself in its opening scenes, walking into a garage to give her hubby a heads up that the tour bus has arrived. Distracted with some repair work on his hot rod, he’d let time get away.

She enjoyed the experience, Brantley says, but that’s not to say she’s looking towards Hollywood. Amber has other things on her mind, actually. “I would venture to say and feel pretty safe in saying that she’ll be another video,” the Georgian says in through is record label. “I don’t know if she wants to pursue it outside of that. That might take some coercing, but she’s pretty driven right now with school. She decided to go back to school for counseling and therapy and she’s pretty wrapped up in that.”
You could catch her on the road, though. She travels with Brantley from time to time and he’s got plenty of touring left to do. Though his schedule is pretty bare through the end of this year, things are sure to get back underway soon. Keep an eye out for upcoming dates here.
