Kip Moore Partners With Tony Hawk For Charity
Kip Moore and skateboarding legend Tony Hawk as partners? Yep. And for a pretty cool good cause.
The “More Girls Like You” singer is teaming with the international skateboard champion for the Music City Skate Jam in Nashville next month. The day-long event is set to take place in downtown Music City with skate demos by Hawk and music performances by Kip along with Jordan Davis and Dee Jay Silver. Proceeds benefit Kip’s Kids Fund and the Tony Hawk Foundation, both of which have an interest in building skate parks in cities around the country.

“I think what’s always driven me at my core, throughout my career, was to one day have the capability to make a major impact in inner cities around the country,” Kips says through the event’s publicist. “I was never a true skater, but always admired the brotherhood of the skating community. Having a chance to team up with a guy like Tony, who’s so respected for all he does, is beyond what I could’ve imagined.”
