Disney and Disney Pixar movies are such big parts of most peoples lives. Especially the longevity of the Toy Story saga. Toy Story was released in 1995, Toy Story 2 in 1999, Toy Story 3 in 2010, and Toy Story 4 in 2019. That is over 20 years of Woody and Buzz captivating the lives of children and adults all over the world.

Could you imagine if they stopped after just the first Toy Story?? Toy Story 2, We never would have met Jessie and Bullseye. Mr. Potato Head would have never gotten married to Mrs. Potato Head. In Toy Story 3 we all would have missed Andy growing up and and us parents crying over it. Or having complete anxiety over which toys Andy was going to donate and which ones he was going to trash when he went to college. Not to mention Sunnyside Day Care, Lotso and the dang garbage truck… the Tri-County Landfill! Toy Story knows how to take your anxiety to new levels, get the tears flowing, to pull at every heart string you have, and laughing at all the jokes that were so beautifully put in to go over your children’s heads. All of that we almost missed out on because Toy Story 2 was DELETED… TWICE!

Can you believe that?! Talk about major anxiety if you were the person to delete it or put any work into it! Galyn Susman to the rescue! In true mom form saving the day right!?

Disney is the reason we believe in magic. I think it was Disney magic that kept Toy Story 2 on Galyn’s computer!

The story is just now being resurfaced ahead of the release of the newest Toy Story addition, Lightyear, which is the origin story of Buzz Lightyear. Buzz is going to be voiced by Chris Evans. Set to release June 17th, 2022.
