He was most definitely nerd-ing out when visiting! Have you ever been? It’s pretty cool.
Located at The Luxor at 3900 S Las Vegas Blvd, Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition is open daily from 11am to 6pm.
According to their website, “Experience the wonder and tragedy of the world’s most famous ocean-liner, Titanic. Viewed by more than 25 million people worldwide, the Exhibition is one of the highest attended in history.
Over 250 authentic artifacts recovered from the wreck site of Titanic, as well as extensive recreations of some of the most famous rooms from the Ship, make this an educational and entertaining experience perfect for all ages.”
Some highlights from Jeff’s trip include…
- The Big Piece!
- Remodels of First, Second and Third Class cabins
- The Starry Deck
- The Staircase Replica
Also on their website, they think those are highlights!
“The exhibit features a piece of Titanic’s hull, a full-scale re-creation of the Grand Staircase as well as a newly expanded outer Promenade Deck, complete with the frigid temperatures felt on that fateful April night.”
The only downfall is that you can’t take your own photos at the Grand Staircase, but don’t worry, they have a photographer there and I HAD to buy the photo at the gift shop after we got done. You can see it at the end of this photo gallery!
Also, big shoutout to his friend, Henry, who joined Jeff for this very fun adventure, you may see him in a few pictures! He’s an elementary schooler in Las Vegas that Jeff’s fiancee, Emily, used to watch during the pandemic. Since then, their two families have become very close! Jeff was so happy to have Henry with him for this awesome afternoon.
